Well team, this week we won’t be gathering together as a whole on Thursday due to the prayer meetings. Revolution will be happening as usual, and ‘Kingdom Culture’ will be in the Kerith Centre rehearsing for Sunday. I would really encourage everyone to make it to one of the prayer meetings this week. I am conscious that one of the things we don’t have vast amounts of time for on a Thursday is praying corporately for each other, our ministry and our church. I know many of you do this in bands and I would encourage you to keep doing this – keep putting God first in all you do – and we will always pray together as a team, even if just for a short time.
But, I have been spurred on again regarding the need for spending time in God’s presence together will others – to encourage each other, to spark off each other, to spur one another on, to stand together. So don’t think of this Thursday as a ‘night off’ – as you have already carved a Thursday evening out in your week to be a worshipper – carry on with that this week in a slightly different way.
1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18:
Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
On Saturday, we have some thing just for the girlies. At 7.30pm in the Kerith Centre is the Unique Word and Worship evening – it’s a turn up and enjoy event, £2.50 on the door. It would be great to get as many of the worship girlies there to hear from Catrina and give a strong lead in worship. See you there!
