Well, another year, another youth camp in Albania. This is now the third year that our team have gone out to Albania to support a youth camp run by the gathered churches from the main towns in the country. I’d heard some incredible things about the camp but it’s hard to picture when you’ve never been before, but I can honetly say I was so impressed by all that happened.
It was truly amazing to see some of our youngest Resound members leading over 160 young people with such passion, integrity and maturity. We saw the most phenomenal response in worship, we saw many first time commitments, many people recommit their life to Christ, we saw both emotional and physical healing, people being delivered from things in their past – it was truly amazing.
Over the week the guys not only led worship at the 4 day conference, they also led worship in a local church and performed two concerts in different towns where our youth pastor, Liam Parker, preached and led many people to Christ. They also performed live versions of songs fro the ‘Magnanimous‘ album on a local radio station – cool huh!
I just want to say how amazingly privileged I feel not only to have been able to serve in this way with some brilliant people in our team, but that God would use people like us to show others his kingdom. What a way to stir up our hearts to worship him than to realise he has a plan for each of us to do his work and impact the world. Amazing!!
